Christine is an experienced therapist who engages clients in the therapeutic process by developing treatment goals based on clients’ individual needs. She partners with clients to develop a treatment plan that utilizes the clients’ support system which may include their family and other medical providers in order to ensure appropriate treatment goals are set and achieved. Christine enjoys engaging clients in the therapeutic process by giving value to each client’s perspective through her client-centered approach. Christine has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
She provides individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults. She provides a safe, confidential and accepting place for her clients to share their struggles and learn to care for themselves. She helps her clients set achievable goals, learn practical coping skills to handle their stress, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, and find balance in their life.

Her approach incorporates various therapeutic interventions, tailored to each individual and their situation. These approaches include psycho-education, anger management, stress management, communication skills, emotion regulation and relaxation techniques, and EMDR.
Christine’s areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, PTSD, Eating Disorders, Marital/Couples Issues, and Adjustment/Life Transitions. Christine has the unique experience of having worked in the business field prior to obtaining her Master of Science degree from Northern Illinois University in 2008 with a major in Counseling. Christine is a Masters-prepared Nationally Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Christine is an experienced trainer in the areas of: CBT, ACT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Meditations, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Gottman Level II Couples Counseling, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
