In Step now offers TMS!

What is TMS?
TMS stands for transcranial magnetic stimulation. It is an FDA approved, non invasive solution for treatment resistant major depressive disorder (MDD). TMS requires no sedation or recovery time and has no systemic or cognitive side effects. Side effects may include headaches or local pain/discomfort, both of which generally dissipate with additional treatments.
TMS works through magnetic stimulation of neural pathways leading to antidepressant effects and healthier brain function

TMS stimulates areas of the brain associated with mood regulation to improve the symptoms of mental health disorders such as clinical depression.

It uses short magnetic pulses to target the exact area in the brain affected by depression. Repeated stimulation of this area can have an antidepressant effect on people suffering from major depressive disorder.
TMS can help treat depression where other methods have failed
TMS is covered by most insurances and we are happy to help you through the process
