From Joseph Spagnola III, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:

Have you ever wondered which medication is the most costly medication on the market right now?  Well, the answer is the ‘incorrect medication.’  Moreover, many conditions treated with medication alone can take weeks to months longer to stabilize or resolve than treatment plans incorporating both meds and therapy.  This can lead to a longer path toward regaining wellness, increase lost productivity at work or school and increase the overall cost of treatment.
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I treat ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD and many other conditions.  I will work closely with you to create an effective treatment plan based on your needs and lifestyle.  Together, we will explore whether you might benefit from genetic testing (which draws from an ever increasing database of genetic markers correlated to the effectiveness of specific medications) or esketamine (i.e., Spravato, a medication proven highly effective for rapid improvement of symptoms associated with acute, treatment-resistant depression).
